Me too Freeme. I would be in for a 5700k if it ever happened. Mateminco has them on AliX, so they have been made before. Can you put in a request? Although It seems xhp 50 5700k seems to be one of the rarest emitters on the market lol.
I bought the 5700k and compared to the 6500-7000k it’s much better on the glare and tint. Mateminco sells them so why not have some made under the Astrolux banner?
Can you tell me a little bit more about your sst40 5000k ?
I might get it instead of the XHP50.2 / 5700K.

yup, what freeme said, but also the beam shape / pattern on the xhp50 version is better. I had the FT02s (and despite what some people say) i thought the beam, throw, and quality of beam shape on the xhp50 version was Awesome, especially compared to the sst40 ics i saw.
I honestly wanted the xhp50 version more, and will eventually buy that one too, but i bought sst40 version only so i can install the new SFT40 leds in it, and i knew they would reflow right on to the existing board of the sst40 version.
I would prefer and recommend the xhp50 version ESPECIALLY if yuo can find it in 5700k (it is very hard to find these lights in general ) in xhp50 5700k.

The prices I see for the MT04 / xhp50 / 5700k are around $70.
And Im not sure I’ll be getting the 5700k version.
I like 5000k better.
And with the lower price of the EA01S, I decided to get the SST40/5000k version.
Hopefully I’ll like it enough to keep it.
