can i have coupon ?
Freeme- they must really want the light, that person avergages 1 post every 18 months, and they “broke their silence ” to ask for the ft02s! LOL
:+1: I should follow your thought process, most of my posts are written like English is my 3rd language … :person_facepalming:

Thanks for the code, I mostly read Order one in Sandy color.
I would appreciate a code. thank you.

5700k appears to be available again
FYI to others- I recently ordered 6500k xhp50 and didn’t ship yet, contacted BG and they helped me switch it to the 5700k. I will report back if I get the 5700k or not, figured it was worth the try
I would like a code if still available
FT02s with xhp50.2 shipped today.
Thanks again Freeme!
I’d also like a code (I could have sworn I requested one already, but I just searched through this thread and apparently not).
Edit:
Ordered one, really looking forward to how much throw the SST 40 will have at 6500k

Freeme, may I too please have a code for this light. Been on the edge over buying one & now decided I need it. Thanks.
Thanks Freemen…now I have a question someone here may be able to answer, is the Astrolux FT02s the same light as the Mateminco TK04?? I know they rebadged or are possibly made in same factory but the FT02s has a 11000lm rating in the xhp50.2 where as the TK04 has a 13500 lumens. Am I missing something here? Thanks, sorry I am a bit of a torch noob…
Yup bought the green FT02s with Feeeme’s link, hope it’s the same light as the Mateminco tk04 or maybe there just different lights.

Should be the same light, majority of Astrolux lights are manufactured by Mateminco just rebranded for banggood.

I have the ft02s and it is the same internally (Mateminco-branded driver), but there are some external design differences like knurling on the battery tube. I don’t think the LEDs are being driven harder though so their claim of an extra 1250 lumens may be exaggerated a bit.
Also I learned from the tear down that the FT02S (and FT03) have a driver configuration (MCU I/O pin usage) that doesn’t match up to any Anduril configuration, so again, someone had to specifically modify Anduril to get it to work for these flashlights. Since it was modified, BG/Astrolux/Mateminco are required by the licensing agreement to publish the modified source code which they failed to do. TK has pointed this out many times - it’s easy to comply with the licensing agreement, but BG/Astrolux/Mateminco continue to break/violate the licensing agreement.
The downside effect to us of them not publishing the source code is for flashing upgrades, it makes it harder to do. But after the tear down, I now know what hardware changes they made, and can modify Anduril2 to support. Actually this was already done by SammysHP, and posted, because he posted a FT03 version and that driver matches the FT02S’s. The other problem is Mateminco’s choice of flash pin configuration - it’s a straight line of 6 pins and doesn’t match any of my flash adapters that were somewhat standardized on other Anduril lights.
Thank you very much for useful information, and for a great review, teardown and upgrade tips.
So that basically means that I can flash same Anduril 2 hex file modified for ft03(one that SammysHP posted) to both ft03 and ft02s, right ?
I believe so. Though the FT02S should run a lot hotter than the FT03, so probably thermal reg settings should be tweaked, but I'm not sure how, or what values to use - depends on what LED's as well (XHP50'2 vs. SSt-40's for example). I try to check other Anduril cfg file settings of a comparable light, and use them.

Oh yes, I forgot about it. You are right, it might need some tweaking regarding temp reg.
And it seems that even stock UI on it already has temperature regulation problem.
Hi Freeme ,

Sofirn uses one configuration for all lamps (SC31pro - 1000 lm and SP36BLF 8000 lm).
I received my Ft 02 s. Tube poorly machined, threads with chips.
Is the driver in your copies not covered with anything?
