Ordered a Conway S2+ and 2 sets of magnets 10/2. Marked as “Shipped” 10/3. Of course, it has not left the facility. Paid $2 for “Air Parcel Registered” so I can track it when it actually ships.
I can understand things being back-ordered, I just hate to be lied to. BG is moving way down the list of preferred sources.

Got my Blue SS XHP50.2 5700K today - very impressive! Shipping only took 5 days, also impressive!
I noticed the new blue FT03 came with a purple AR coating lens, which my older black FT03's w/SST40's didn't. The reflector quality might also be improved. The older FT03's had noticeable rings in the SMO finish, compared to other lights that don't, like the Amutorch JM70 (sold under other brand names as well). Not sure if there's any negative about the rings in the finish though.
Here's the #'s I got, fully stock, on a GOLISI 26650 4300 at 4.20V:
- 16.3A (clamp meter), Tom E lumens: 5200-4750, calibrated: 4590-4190 (start-30s), throw: 179 kcd (846 meters), taken at 5m
From my notes, I measured the black FT02 with the SST40 at about 240-250 kcd on a top cell, with the springs bypassed, but the bypassing didn't make much of a difference.

Sometimes you see this when a company has the product in a nearby distribution hub. Like I’ve ordered 30Q from Banggood and they shipped it from their hub in LosA or SanF (I forget exactly).
If it came straight from China this time of year it seems odd. Maybe they had orders going out that day and boom it was all just chance it got here so quick. Usually things take longer than normal around the holiday season (Oct to Feb in China).
Tom being in NY may have helped also. A lot of overseas shipments arrive in New York.
Ok, this one was weird. It was "USA Priority Mail". The first shipping notice was actually the 22nd, so 8 days, but BG said it shipped the 25th. It came into Illinois on the 26th, then 4 days to delivery - really quite a fast track. Think 8 or 9 days was the previous record for me, but that's normal China.
Probably 8 days is the real time, though BG says in it's own tracking that it shipped the 25th.
weird, i just checked my ft03 black sst40, it has ar coating, not much but i can see purple in window reflection…
forgot to write that i placed order for 1 blue XHP50.2 Stainless Steel looking forward it.
One small step to perfection.
