This forum is slowly turning into one man show. If he at least controlled himself a bit, but no - the guy is systematically flooding the forum with his selling proposals. And it keeps growing
Why would or should he stop?
He has good deals and it doesn’t ruin the rest of the forum.
.
Also, nothing he does is against forum rules so…?
.
If you don’t like his posts, maybe just don’t read them.
I would make a first ammendment reference but I see you’re from Europe. Do they not have free speach there (which even covers speach you disagree with)?
But I digress… Why does it bother you so much? You’ve already been told how to hide all his posts so you have a solution, you just choose to keep pushing the [non]issue to “stir the pot”
I disagree, freeme - and some other members - work hard to bring us deals, deals that we want.
If you use the “recent posts” feature, you can switch and use “recent posts: not commercial” instead. You will never see his deals again. But many of us, we want his deals!
Reference to 1st amendment is fine, as it reveals that you believe that free speEch comes ONLY in the shape—and within the realm—of the 1st amendment?!
Well, not an issue for me personally, it is more of a principle of one not behaving as one pleases to. Imagine every one of us flooding the forum in the same manner?…Even if everyone had good deals to offer
Other who sell stuff do not do this, so why should FreeMe be doing it, can anyone explain?
By doing that I do not see other commercial offers, you get the point?
Abuse of visible space on the forum is what this is, commercially motivated abuse
A few years ago, there were few members with coupons and special offers. Today there are more. Too many, I don’t know. Time will tell. And if you can’t avoid buying a certain light, then there is nothing wrong with getting a GB or a better price.
Freeme does post a lot lately. That’s his choice. We don’t have to read it, we don’t have to buy it. The only thing freeme might have to worry about is that some of his offers might lead to fratericide (AKA: in house competition, he shoots in his own foot).
Which reminds me of a big corporation (who left that segment decades ago) who was aiming for a big market share in the large-account personal computer sale. The “funny” thing was that often the final contenders were NOT other big corporations, but independent operating country based divisions in the same corporation. Large scale fratericide :person_facepalming:
