So, here’s a rare one for all those who remember the infamous LiteFlux lights. I’ve had offers in the past, and I had decided not to sell. However, I feel like it’s time to let it go.
The light comes in the engraved, factory wooden box, and it contains everything that was included when it left the factory! (The extra o-rings are in a small bag under the nyogel).
Fully functional light, instructions included. They’re also available online in either this forum or “the other one.” The bag that’s above the light in the image is the secondary lanyard. This is a programmable, CR123/16340 light. No modding or parts removal or disassembly done. It was purchased, used gently for about a few weeks, and put away. There are two flaws. One is a small fleck of ano missing at the tail (see picture). The other is also related to the anodiing, but is a little different. These LiteFlux lights had thin anodizing, and as a result this particular light has a section which appears lighter. I captured it in the picture (looks much more pronounced in the image, and much less so in person). It looks like the thin anodizing didn’t apply perfectly to the valleys in that section of the anodizing. This is the way I received the light, and I never thought to complain. At the time, I guess I was just happy to have it.
I try to represent anything I’m selling as accurately and fairly as I can.
Asking $225 shipped, CONUS, but I will entertain offers. First one to post something like “I’ll take it” in this thread gets the light. If you want to make an offer, post something like “Offer sent,” and then PM me.
I could be off on the price point, but that’s what offers are for. There isn’t a catalog for me to reference the appreciation of lights like there is for classic cars and baseball cards, so…
Yep, those LiteFlux lights where ahead of their time. And their UI still are in some ways.
LiteFlux lights haven’t been produced in many years now, but people still like&want&collect them, so that’s why the prices are so high.
Too bad I didn’t buy the LF2XT back when they where still produced. The price of $60-70 just seemed so high back then
Rare and collective for sure. I regret not grabbing one of the liteflux AA models when I had the chance back in 2009, these lights are special in so many ways.
Oh, I completely agree there would be a bigger potential market “over there.” I though I’d post here first as a courtesy. If it doesn’t sell, I’ll move it over there.
No debate here. It’s a rare collectible that is still popular. It can also be modded if wanted. The circuit can function one of two ways and is very flexible and programmable. I know people always slag the other place but man, there’s a lot of rude banter in sales threads here.
I thought it was common knowledge. Don’t crap in people’s sales threads.
Hehe, I would happily give 2 (or more) brand new Convoys for one of these LiteFlux lights!
And I would value the LiteFlux higher, while it is in it’s stock form with XR-E LED. Modern emitter would surely improve the performance, but then it would not be the same light anymore. Just last year I found the original XR-E LED of my Nitecore NDI from my old flashlight stuff, and soldered it right back in there (replacing the XM-L that it was modded with). There’s just so much more to these lights than the output. And even the output is plenty for most practical illumination purposes.
