Actually there are protected high drain cells, just came across them today. Those are protected Samsung 25R by Enerpower. HKJ tested them. Protection kicks in at around 10A which is a bit low for these cells and their typical applications. Don’t know where to buy them though.

I have some Sanyo UR18650FM at hand, will they be sufficient to drive hard enough this rocket? Also have plenty of Samsung ICR18650-26F and EagleTac 3100mAh cells (white with red top and numbers, by I don’t know which cell is that).
