Hello,
just noticed that FT have el01 again.
I want to order one, but i saw that there are two knifes with different prices
first 15$~
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1901/10001880/1452002
second 13$~
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1901/10001880/1850103

Why? Is it mistake, or one of them could be poorer quality?
which one i should take?
Thanks for answers

I do not see any differences. Sometimes the same item come from two differents sellers at different price… In the same shop (in dx occurs).

As Xatu said, different sellers, different prices. The prices on FT are very good and they list a good number of Enlan models. Thanks for posting the listing.

Different handles, one is 33mm wide, the other is 40mm wide?

Its common to find the exact same item listed under many different SKU’s/prices within the same reseller because they are often supplied by many different distributors. Id go with the least expensive of the two. Whatever you do, dont alert them to the price difference or they’ll raise the price.

It seems that there are several similar, but slightly different knives. Sizes, blades, serration and color differ.

EL-01 Black
EL-01 Brown
EL-01A
EL-01B
EL-01AB
EL-01KH

The 15 dollar one lists Plastic & Stainless Steel 95mm blade

The 13 dollar one lists G10 & Stainless Steel 94mm blade

They both appear to be identical. Prbably just different vendors but are truly the SAME.

PS The red one (rosewood scales) is really NICE too. I have one of each.

I’ve never heard a bad word about the EL-01. Can anyone here comment on how it compares to the Kershaw Skyline (which is also mentioned a lot as a must-have flipper)?

I've got the SkyLine. No comparison. EL01 is the ROBUST big Daddy.. Skyline is VERY compact and VERY light in the pocket

They are both Excellent flippers once Axis pin is adjusted properly.

Then there’s the Rosewood one as well. The EL-01D.

And the ones Enlan makes for other “makers” Boker Magnum A-Stan.

It’s a pity that Enlan don’t supply that pivot pin on all their EL-01’s and the other triangle pivot pin models, there’s a double ended Torx key with T8 for the pivot and T6 for the scales in the tin as well, titanium coated blade for £21.95 or $35.70.

And the RUI Energy series, available in Khaki as well.

Stupidly expensive in the U.K. but I got the khaki version, not bothering with the black scaled one. I got one from Spain and even money with the U.K. sourced one but in Euros not Pounds so in effect I saved difference in the exchange rates.

Boker sells a lot of Enlans in their Magnum range not just the EL-01.
