do we know what anduril version they use?
Received my Ti FW1AA and FWAA today. These lights are great. Love the floody triple and the nice hotspot on the single. I haven’t checked but hopefully the internal components aren’t glued in place.
I am feeling left out… I ordered an FW1AA back on 2/21 and it has not shipped…

Received my FW1AA Ti yesterday.
Excellent light. I performed a few quick mods to mine:
- Emitter swap - replaced stock 4000K Nichia 519a with 5000K NTG35. Great beam pattern and tint.
- Alternate clip - I swapped the stock clip for a modified FWAA clip. Same clip, but with the backbend cut off, a slightly larger feed ramp and the whole clip bent inwards for increased retension.
- Button mod - I removed the nubbin and replaced it with a shorter one. Added 2 o-rings inside the boot for increased resistance.

I’d like to see the clip. I bought some from Neil and modified them too.
Was the engine glued?
I also modified the deep carry clip, I don’t get why manufacturers keep making these 2 way clips, always seem to get caught on something and bent out of shape.I just bent the back part until it snapped off, sanded it smooth and bent it until the shape was right. I did the same to my FWAA, here they are next to a KR1AA for comparison
No glue on mine, came apart very easily

I think you might also enjoy including an FW1AA in your selection 
Because the beam reaches farther than the FWAA.
imo The FW1AA is more suitable for walking outdoors, because it has more reach (throw).. the FWAA beam is very floody, more suited for indoor distances.
The FWAA is basically a TS10 without Aux..
There is no equivalent to the FW1AA, it is unique among Anduril 14500 linghts in its use of a reflector. And it comes in Titanium, for the Ultimate Bling!
Or my personal favorite, Faux Ti (Polish Aluminum /jk)

Hi Jon, thanks. Believe it or not I have many small lights but I don’t use them much, functionally. Mainly take bigger lights like Firefly E04 & Convoy M21K, etc. for my evening walks.
I only got FWAA because I am tired of people (ok, you 
) talking about this unobtainium for so long and I couldn’t buy one. FOMO. (And of course, for whatever reason I always LIKE flashlights.)
So no plan for FW1AA yet but the itch is there. The LED 519a 4000k (right?) is one I don’t have yet… hmmm.

the pros include:
polished silver
throwy reflector beam
nice big round hotspot from 519a
not glued
moddable to other 3535 LED options
low price w Neal’s discount
cons include:
no Aux
no flashing pads
no dual fuel
FET+1 driver that uses PWM
not very comfortable in cigar grip due to the lack of taper at the tail
on my Copper FWAA I was able to flip the body, which makes it much more comfortable for me in cigar grip:
The KR1AA does not use PWM, is Dual Fuel, has Aux, flashing pads, and tailmagnet…
