Pretty sure flat tops work ok, as long as they will touch each other in the series connection. I have a pair of 18500 laptop pulls in this one and it works fine, they’re about as flat top as they come.

Are these lights glued together well like a Fenix is for example, or do they readily disassemble into all basic components like your average light?
All my Olight are not glued, the last is a M2X-UT (first generation).

Not glued, the bezel is crazy tight but can be taken off with perseverance… I didn’t break out the strap wrenches but DID grab a silicone pad glove for taking things out of the oven for a better grip.
All in all, I really like this one! I modified it’s baby brother the M2X-UT, but this one I’ll leave alone… ask around, that’s really RARE for me to do!

Can you compare it to your Courui with dedomed XP-G2, I know its more powerfoul then Olight…

Without the extender it will take 3xCR123 or 2x18500. With the extender it takes 2x18650 or 4xCR123.

Sorry Nikola, my Courui’s are now de-domed XM-L2 on a copper pedestal and a Luminus SBT-70. Far different creatures.
What’s the reflector size? How does it compare with Thrunite TN31, Maxtoch 2X, Small Sun T08, or some of the other known throwers?
