Still no chance to order the Bluetooth Reciever
I am quoting this from a couple of older posts, as I am quite keen on this particular model but prefer the silver finish. Apart from the color, are these two flashlights identical?? The main reason I am asking is because the listing of the gray has the keywords “New Edition” but the listing on the silver finish doesn’t. As this flashlight has had at least a couple of iterations over the last year or two, I just want to make sure the silver finish listing is also the latest edition. Does anyone know?

No, the ‘new model’ isn’t actually the newest model. The clear C8 has an XP-L hi emitter, smooth reflector, and Biscotti firmware standard. The gray model has the older XM-L2 emitter and orange peel reflector, with older firmware.

GB, sounds like the words “New Edition” really needs to be removed from the listing of the gray model as it is very misleading, since it is not exactly the “New” version anymore. Perhaps you can refer this to the department that updates the title to get those words removed??
