Nothing earth-shattering. Just wanted a nice gray one for my collection, figure I’d throw in a 4C with TIR lens like I already got in my 4C green-S2+, but with a simple 1-mode driver and wider-angle TIR to make it nice and floody.
60° is nice, but figure a 90° would be just that much floodier, and 1A-2A of current or so would put out enough light to not cook if left unattended, yet fill the wider area with lots of usable light to be a truly general-purpose flooder.
And I’m seriously liking the color of a 4C through a TIR. Blends all the colors so well…
If I could get a nice Nichia on a 16mm disc, I’d be in hawg heaven.
Or maybe, maybe, I’ll throw in a 2-mode 105C (10% and 100%). Ain’t gonna me a tac-light, so I might spring for dual-modes.
