shinee2010 will not send to germany (or GB) Does anyone know, why? I've seen that sometimes on Ebay.
Discharge at 1000ma, result: 2880mah!
Fantastic!
So these batteries seem to perform very close to the Energizer Ultimates at 1/5th price (at least 1/5th Israel price).
Maybe they really are "OEM packaged"? Or just very good knockoffs.
Thanks for the tests, CheapThrills!
Oakhorn - I believe this has something to do with customs. Maybe a lot of confiscations due to not having a CE mark or something like that.
You can ask the seller, maybe he'll agree to send you these batteries "at your own risk"...
just bought a pack of 4xAAA!! exchange rate to Yen, only 313 yen... great price..
Got 8x AA & 4x AAA.
All had good steady voltages, as the set above.
Doing now a discharge for one AAA OEM Energizer @ 100mA.
Got already well over 1100mAh and counting...
Reporting may come tomorrow, or today depending on how long it will still take... :p
Result for AAA after 100mA discharge is 1195mAh.
Free voltage after discharge raises still to 1,30+V, gives plenty usable light with DQG II Tiny after discharge.
Heck...........this guy must hate us Brits. He won't even ship paracord or plain wire keyrings to the UK let alone these batteries.
Just pick up 4pc of AAA for my incoming DQG II R4! Great prices! This would cost me ~$12 for 4pc over in SG!
Doing a 1A discharge with the AA , ATM . 1768mA - 1.19v - 116min - in my Powerex .
Will update when completed .
Ok the Powerex stopped @ 2793mA , the battery bounced back to 1.43v so I put it into my Jetbeam and it has enough power left to make the light usable ..
Next I put it in my Nlight B2 [ well regulated ] and it ran really well , so I guess there is still energy in the battery ..
In fact I might throw it back in the Powerex at lower discharge rate ...
Got another 100mAh out of it ...
Voltage bounced back to 1.43v , and still runs in my Nlight B2
Ok, good reference.
Seems like these perform quite nicely.
Only thing that I´ve noticed is, that these might have a bit more variation in voltages comparing to Genuine Energizers when measured at arrival. Variation is just within 0,025V on cells that I got last (8pcs).
Received 2 packages.. 4xAAA and 4xAA from Ebay.
from 2 "different" sellers..springhedy and venny200....
When I received both packages...on same date.. they both have the same return address..
just sellers names were different..
must be same company/seller.
Envelopes had different colors, but both had the same printed labels!
FYI
So this is the source of these lithium cells.....Promax?
I bought some genuine ones a few days ago for $10 for 4 (they cost $20 in the shops here)
After reading this thread I just did a search for AA lithium on eBay and found this
They appear to have been welded together as a CRV3 camera battery and then disassembled.
$10 for 10? Very good price.
They are identical to the ones I have right here with me apart from the wrapper of course.
I ended up getting these ones, the ones on eBay in my last post aren't ultimate.
Hopefully they are the real deal.
I have discharged those with some 200mA up to 1000mA and they give almost the same cap. I would say those are good.
Have you taken a picture and emailed Energizer to ask?
There have been so many counterfeits for so many years that second hand info is likely out of date.
My experience has been that the few times I have ended up with counterfeits, the manufacturer has wanted them to chase down where they were coming from, and exchanged them sending me real batteries.
Sometimes there are real OEMs out there and manufacturers generally will say so if that's what you appear to have. Often they have comparison photos so you can tell real from counterfeit. It's amazing how sloppy counterfeiters are with copying battery wrappers!

Hm, I had some of that brand a few years ago from a US supplier bought on closeout. The shelf life was really poor. Could be they're better now.
