Never done this before: I just bought it only because I like the looks of it very much.
I have no need for it, no ideas for modding it, or of which high end light this is a clone, no idea even what kind of flashlight it is, it might even be a p60-host for what it looks like. Disappointment guaranteed probably. But still: it looks good :-)
It looks like a rebrand of the Ultrafire C1, sans pocket clip, with an absurdly crenellated bezel. It should be okay, I’ll be interested in knowing if it’s the same level of quality as the UF version (pretty good actually)
You are right, thanks for the info, they even sell one at dx with the extreme bezel, but with a XRE drop-in, and a bit more expensive:
It will take the heat of an XM-L driven by 1.7A pretty well as long as you keep moving. But then that’s what medium is for.
