Got any cutter or utility knives?

Did anyone try and buy box cutters from Fasttech, DX, or else? I am assuming that most cutters are made in China anyway and they can be insanely cheap.

Which utility knives have you got? please share.

I am in the market for an original Stanley

I have bought a 18mm cutter knife from fiskars and ten blades for few euros after I got a fiskars knife borrowed and the blades were double as sharp as my cheap China blades were….so I am out of the cheap China game the fiskars was not expensive and will last forever.
I have a lot standard cutters laying around from hobby king these were just few cents if you have to pay the expensive shipping anyway…these are better than the average gifted ones with advertisement on them but the fiskars blades are still a lot better.

Just did a quick eBay search this is the model I got:

I got mine from my local Fastech distributor Harbor Freight. Got a box of blades and I have at it.

This is the best lightweight model I’ve used and has held up for more than two years now without any plastic parts breaking. I don’t trust the all plastic ones and the heavy duty models are too bulky.

I have a bunch of Stanleys and they come in more than a few different models. The key is the blade.

and maybe also the arresting of the blade.

there is one Stanley which interlocks the blade with a clever screw mechanism at the tail

it cannot be purchased in the US, i've checked the US catalog.

You can use 30° blades (9mm cutter) for precision work if you don’t like the round handle of an X-acto knife. Usually made in Japan, I’ve seen them around $5 for 10.

I have a couple of Stanley folding utility knives.

Yep, my EDC is a Harbor Freight single edge razor blade. I got around 100 of them spread out around the house… now, if I could only find one…

My favorites are the OLFA Japanese cutters, available in multiple widths. Most of their blades are the multi segment snap-off blades that are about 2.5” to 4” long when new and fully extended. The skinniest takes 9 mm width blades, the intermediate takes 18mm blades and the widest takes 25mm wide blades. The 18mm and 25mm versions have unsegmented blades available for them from Tajima, NASTY!! The 25mm blades have a 4” cutting edge when fully extended. Per something I read these long blade utility cutters are what some of the 9-11 terrorists may have used. With the unsegmented 4” blades these are some pretty nasty knives.
