Great camping headlamp?

Looking for a bright, decent runtime headlamp for blinding critters and lighting up the forest- I dont really care about about cri- Just purchased Fenix HM65R-T but not real impressed with the 400 LM flood and the weight.
Simple UI preferred and not interested in a right angle, removable torch.
