Oh that’s too bad. I confess I have actually been thinking about one of these lately, maybe just because Amazon’s been showing it to me every day, but that’s disappointing performance for a light at that price point.

I saw some people in the olight Facebook group who, after a couple of months of regular use at higher levels (one walked the dog daily with the light) started seeing less and less output, with the TIR getting some hazy/cloudy and sometimes slightly beige look.
Not sure if the TIRs are low quality, this was a bad batch, or they are not cooling the LEDs sufficiently so the TIRs degrade due to thermal stress, but that was pretty weird to see.
Would be interesting to know if the TIR is PMMA or polycarbonate.
I have 2 of the Marauder Minis, that I purchased when they were released. No issues with them. I like the sizing of the light, although I am not 100% sold on the switch, it is a non issue for me. I can put it in my jacket pocket, or my back pants pocket on a walk, and love the combination of throw and flood. I would not discount the light or not consider it based on this review. Maybe wait for a sale, if the price is too high. But what is not expensive these days, anyway.
