Tl;Dr: I love the new smaller size, new aesthetic, and AA/AAA support in one device. I can simply drop batteries in the top and they end up fully charged at the bottom. It’s reliable and I don’t have to think about it. The MCC ports on the Pro version are nice, but I don’t find the screen useful so I’d probably buy the standard version instead. The app seems superfluous and raised some privacy concerns for me. Overall, it delivers on being a “drop dead batteries in, pull charged batteries out” fool-proof charger and I like it.

Thanks for the review! Seems to me this is a particularly niche product, I’d be interested in hearing about the “use case scenario” from people who buy it though.
This strikes me as a product for families. For example, if you’ve got kids that are always running through batteries for their toys and controllers, you can teach them to get fresh batteries out the drawers and put dead batteries in the top. You don’t have to teach them how to properly insert batteries into a bay charger and hit go, nor do you have to take the charged batteries out of a bay charger and put them into a “charged” container.
