Grizzly's Ripsshine OF1 Review – Cheap Anduril 2 Hotrod

Tl;Dr: It’s been quite awhile since I had a light with Anduril 2. It’s more fun than I remembered. I love the switch and USB-C charging. I like the ergonomics, brightness, magnet, and UI (after I made some changes). The performance and build quality are fine. I dislike the audible PWM, high parasitic drain, and lack of powerbank function. I strongly dislike the clip, and it largely ruins the light for me.

Thanks for a well written review.
I suggest taping the end of the clip , putting it in a vise and giving it a bend . You have nothing to lose since you can’t break something that’s already broken .

Which Anduril version (model and date) does it have?

Too many good lights out there. Not sure how this one will fit in.

How on earth did they choose this ancient firmware with an outdated microcontroller and parameters for a flashlight with completely different properties? And with no way to update the firmware (no flashing pads and a microcontroller that can barely run a subset of current Anduril features) it’s not worth getting it.
