Yes, I’m a little shocked that this group buy isn’t catching on as well as I thought it would. I looked around for price comparisons and this is by far the lowest I’ve seen. It’s more than 1/3 off of the MSRP. And with all the glowing reviews, I was sure this would be something that people would have wanted.
I could be mis-remembering but wasn’t there a really good discount on this light recently, like maybe around the holidays? I don’t remember who had it (maybe Gearbest?) but I think the price was really good. It was a short sale, but maybe a lot of people bought the light then.
I saw that it happened last summer, but the group buy for it had been put on hold and many members were still asking to be notified if it ever started up again. That was one of the reasons why this light was chosen. People in the interest thread said they would prefer a light from a trusted brand since it was going to be stock and not customized. I figured that this would be a good choice. I know it’s definitely not in the budget category, but it seemed that enough people were interested.
I think the strong response to the recent GB for the Maxtoch M24 Sniper XPL-Hi satisfied the need for this type of thrower for many members. And, it seems robo819 and mudgripz are working a project with Maxtoch to produce another similar thrower with substantially more lux.
In any case, your effort to organize a deal on a great flashlight for the BLF community is appreciated.
I had the code tested before I posted this thread and it worked for me. I’m not sure if it’s case sensitive, but try “OLIGHT” again. I have an ordering account with the website, but it should work regardless. Please let me know if it doesn’t work again. I’ll be talking to my contact person to double check for errors with the code.

(personally, I know it is a nice price, but i cant justify it wth the Thorfire S50/S70 on hands, being on the Cometa list, a Colrui and Uniquefire 1501 in transit and not done playing with the Kronos X5/X6 set, sorry)
To the OP, thanks for trying. I am also surprised by the turnout, but one thing I have learned here is you never know how something like this is going to go. Maybe members already went for other group buys and maybe there have been too many group buys here lately, especially for BLF logo special made lights.
Also thanks for trying. But I will sit this one out. With a TN32, a M2X-UT and a BLF SE X5, my need for a thrower is more than covered, in almost every size. Except a nano-thrower, maybe.
Yet you can still have them at that price, with MORE THROW!
