The regular TM16 throws more than the TK75 2015. TM16GT should throw quite a bit more than both. What cells are you using?

Does dedoming an xhp70 actually improve throw? I didn’t think there was much improvement to be had by dedoming the xhp series LEDs.
Vinh54 did that and looking at the pics it does seem to reduce the hotspot a bit
Mine got delivered today! I’m charging up my keeppower 3400 cells now and I’m really looking forward to darkness. This light is bigger than I thought it would be. The led’s seem pretty well centered and the fit and finish are good. It seems as though it’s time to step up to a 4 bay charger.

Are flat top batteries just not tall enough or is there another reason not to use them in this light?
nitecore uses a plastic "foil" as reverse polarity protection
you need to have a raised top to get thru the foils opening to touch the contact

I don’t have too much to compare it to. I’ve got a nitecore MH20 and an OLIGHT M22 Warrior. I’ll take some pictures of it tonight. I don’t have a dslr to take accurate beamshots but I’ll try. And I need to learn how to post pics here.

Yours came in a white box? Mine came in a brown box with a yellow nitecore sticker on the top.
Mine was in a brown cardboard box too with the yellow sticker on it. It just looks white in that picture.
