This looks like a nice light for the price, but it says on gearbest that it doesn’t have memory, so how do the modes work? High->med>low? How do you switch between groups?

Might have to hold out for those improved AA carriers since that’s what I want to use with it.

To switch mode group: switch to low mode and wait for 5 seconds. As soon as you notice a quick blink, half press the power switch and mode group is then toggled.

It does have memory, but the switch is so finicky that you can never really trust it to start in the mode you left it.
