About 26650. Unprotected 26650 (short) works fine but kinda loose. An O-ring is supplied to put around the 26650 to make it rattle less.

I think its a good light for a good price. Far as slow shipping goes, it doesnt bother me at all with flashlights, cause I have to many as it is and dont need them so when I order from China by time they arrive I forget what I ordered and its a nice surprise to open and figure it out :).
