GB said the one in their picture, so not the good one that IOS has.
Only International Outdoor has the good battery carrier, no one else.

i just have one exactly like this, buyed on fasttech for 34$ on december 2013.
dont fit button nor protected 18650 ncr 3400mh batteries, only 18650 flat top ncr
the AA adapter is “the cheaper”. the output light is aproximately like Convoy L4, but more cool tint
But probably i will take another

I read in the german forum that a keyring between head and tube extends the range of useable batteries…
I was afraid that it wouldn’t accept protected ncr18650b cells since I just bought a dozen of them… The output is similar to the Convoy L4, but the throw is much better, right?
What difference does the cheaper aa carrier make?
As long as the battery is shorter than 67 mm it should work, I believe. I have seen the 67 mm in some product description for the flashlight. However, that excludes all protected batteries I have ever owned.
So the answer most likely is NO!
Why not replace the driver spring to a shorter one? 3AAs carrier maybe have problem reaching though.

or just a sum of all will make it longer I am sure!
