Hey BLF. It seems like it took forever, but I finally finished my review. HaikeLite contacted me about doing a review for the MT03, and I agreed. When I opened up the box it was the MT07 instead. Fine by me. Anyway, I asked for the Neutral White version, and this is a review for that. You’ll remember TomE did a review of the Cool White version, and got about 4700ish lumens and 150kcd. My version puts out about 3400 lumens and 87kcd. Functionally the light is perfect, but it seems to put out just slightly more than my Convoy L6. Anyway… via PMs with members and Haikelite, I couldn’t figure out what was going on, and they told me to just finish the review. So here it is, and let me know if you have any questions. I usually like to do 5-7 lights, it balances attention spans with different types of lights. Plus I’ve been trying to walk a bit slower at night, so you can see how it looks as it shines on various surfaces. Thanks!
I really wish they would have gotten a MT03 to you as I’ve got one on the way.
BTW - has anyone seen a Bronte flashlight? They’re not sold anywhere I could find, and the group buy price for the Bronte 3x XHP70 was almost double the MT03’s price. I’d pay that for an Olight/Fenix/Nitecore, but I’m leery of an unknown brand.
I would have liked that one a little more too. I’m curious when people start getting this one, if my light is a fluke or others are getting about that amount. I’d like to see this big chunk of aluminum put to some serious use. Definitely one of the more massive lights out there. It feels like it too. Did you get a NW MT03?
I too agree the MT03 would be nice to see a good review done on. I have seen some videos and text reviews but none done to the quality of mhanlen’s reviews.
