Covergence with LED and speaker brands: Audiophile View of Two LED Brands
I started a new project augmented with a passive radiator. The passive radiator and the grill are actually the only parts purchased in more than 12 years! It’s my new portable speaker system powered by a BT micro amplifier. The coaxial 3.5" speakers are a CMMD version of Infinity’s Kappa auto series, no longer available. The low end frequency is about the same as a JBL Flip but with stronger, cleaner mids and highs.
For portability, how do you power the amp? Doesn’t it roll around , or did you put some feet on it…where the pics don’t show them.

I’m using AC power for the amp but will come up with a battery solution. I have the rubber feet so just need to add them, along with other finishing items.
I want to add some type of guard for the back grill so it doesn’t get smashed in. A waffle grill may be the solution, although not as nice looking as the current one is.

This is the first BT micro amp I bought and it has this obnoxious voice announcing the connection status so I’ve been buying other modules to replace it. But I recently discovered it’s the only one that best opens up the sound for the project above. So my workaround is just to disconnect the speaker terminals on the back while it’s making the connection.
I’m still tapping my supply of items bought over the years so these Leviton binding posts were bought when Home Depot was clearing out an older model. I used some 3M doublestick tape and velcro to assemble and attach it to the amp case.
