I have no idea how many I have, but there must be many. I own about 70 flashlights and about half of them have actually batteries inside. I’m constantly busy recharging them.
Not counting alkalines and cells purchased to be included with flashlights either sold or gifted to others:
4x Trustfire 26650s, puchased for use in my UniqueFire S7
2x Trustfire Flame 18650, used in my only regular-use 2-cell light, the UniqueFire V2
2x Trustfire Flame 14500, used in my TrustFire F20
2x Trustfire Flame 16340, used in my UltraFire WF-501a
I've never purchased any eneloops as my previous experiences with NiMH AA cells have been miserable...
<edit>
I guess I should mention that I also have 12-18 Sanyo and Samsung cells salvaged from laptop battery packs... I typically use these in my single-cell lights. I use 4 pulled from a pack that had 4 good cells and two bad ones marked as a set that I am currently using in my King-Clone light.
16340
14x 880mAh UltraFire (most soon to be thrown out, will keep some for low duty use with laser)
12x 880mAh TrustFire Flames protected
4x 880mAh SolarForce RCR123
AA
6x 2600mAh Tenergy
8x 2000mAh Eneloop
4x 2000mAh Duraloop
AAA
6x 1000mAh Tenergy
4x 800mAh Eneloop
Also have a large assortment (over 30 cells) of harvested Sanyo, Sony, Panasonic and LG 18650’s from laptop packs.
And the three chargers, Xtar WP2 II, Intellicharge i4 v2 and a Turnigy Accucel-6 in the mail, I threw out all the cheap Chinese chargers I started with.
I just bought too much lately. And most because of FastTech. I now count and I’ve got 6x Trustfire 3000, 2x Sanyo 2600, 4x Trustfire 2500 from them and a few from others, 4x Solarforce 2600, 2x Panasonic 3100, 2x Trustfire 2600s. I don’t count others I had already.
2x18650 AW IMR 1600mAh. (Possibly 3 of these, need to check.)
4x18650 AW IMR 2000mAh.
1x18650 AW Protected 2900mAh(?).
2x18650 Orbtronic Protected.
~10x18650 Random brands.
Probably about 20 other batteries of various sizes, mostly 16340, and six 14500 protected batteries.
8 more 18650 batteries are coming soon:)
I'm thinking I may order 8 more 18650's and call it a day after that on batteries for 2013.
My goal is to have enough batteries and lights to easily last me a week, with enough illumination to be able to comfortably be able to read a book.
As of now, I have enough batteries to load all of my flashlights... My biggest accomplishment this weekend was going through all the 18650's and topping them off.
Also have ~100 primaries, and 20nimh's lying around. Now I just need more lights :)
I call them AppleLoops but they are Apple brand AA nimh batteries that many think are rebranded sanyo eneloops. I've had mine for over 2 yrs. now and they act just like eneloops.
My batteries were primarily purchased to run my cameras, handheld GSPr, and a few other electronic gadgets. But I’ve added on for flashlight use recently.
30 AA Eneloops, oldest from November 2007, newest May 2012
16 Imedion Powerx AA ready to use(LSD) 2400 mah
8 Kodak Pre-charged(LSD) AA
4 La Cross branded AA, these act more like LSD even tho they aren’t labeled as such
I should have at least 4 AAA Eneloops but I can’t find them right now
6 Duracell blacktop AAA LSD
20 old non-LSD AA nimh
10 old non-LSD AAA nimh
the above 2 categories are old more than 5 years old, I need to do some test/refresh cycles on them and see if they are really worth holding on to anymore.
newly acquired - 2 LiFePo4 AA size with 4 more still in transit somewhere.
Also, a stash of Primary AA lithium, AA, AAA, C & 9V alkaline and even some 6V lantern batteries.
