The HD02 Mini. In essence, a smaller Wurkkos
HD05 but without the swiveling and color temperature adjustments, but with individual spot and flood modes, and being able to take 14500 and aa.
Out of the box, it came with the USB-C cable, a Wurkkos 14500 battery, 2 spare o-rings and the manual. That’s about it. No lanyard, nor a lanyard hole.
The main appeal of it is its strong magnet, and its small 14500 size (definitely too bulky for a keychain light, and it doesn’t have a lanyard hole anyway). It is feature rich, with flood, spot (you cannot have both sadly) and red coming from the front, and the side light.
The lockout is this sliding switch. On off, it covers the usb port and electrically locks out the light (it blinks on click)
On on, it might be an oversight, but it exposes the usb port but turns on the light. Debris might get in there if you’re not careful.
You can hold the power button to increase the brightness of each mode. Unfortunately, no stepped modes. Bit of a dealbreaker for me.
According to the manual, it’s >50% for green, >20% for orange, <20% for red. Note that the battery indicator doesn’t quite work properly with alkalines (it immediately goes to orange which is odd.) The battery indicator is on a led strip on the side of the flood panel which the light goes up on (it’s like charging up) and only shows green, orange, red. The leds go down as your battery percentage goes down.
On spot mode, it has not much usable flood, but has a big circular hotspot. It uses a TIR.

On flood, it uses a very 4000k-ish tint and like it says so, is very floody with no visible hotspot.

On red mode, it’s deep red. Night vision, of course.

Flood panel works exactly as expected.
