For the AA light, I would suggest, if you don’t mind waiting, Enogear AA Stainless Steel. Very nice construction and shorter than most tail clicky switch AA lights despite it being a AA tail clicky light. As of last I checked last night it is still under $15 (I paid under $15 shipped). It does have TIR optics rather than reflector.

What’s TIR optics?

BTW, for AA/14500 flashlights, get Sofirn SF14 (3 modes, no memory) and for the eventually that Windyfire or Efest IMR14500 battery (purple, 2017 version - take a look at Mountain Electronics )
