I measure 86mm or 3.386” using a Mitutoyo digital caliper and measuring the recess the lens fits into in the bezel. The stock lens is .060” or 1.5mm thick plastic but the recess it fits into in the bezel is considerably deeper than that, .100” to .120” I estimate. Hope that helps.
Thank you. It does. Unfortunately, the lens I have is 100mm diameter. But I want to keep that light in mind should I come across a lens about that size.

No luck in my Google search for the 200 LED light even in surplus stores unfortunately. Personally I wonder if it was so overpowering to the AA batteries, particularly if users tried to use alkaline batteries, that it was a total disaster, as practical as a rubber crutch. Like trying alkaline batteries in a Nitecore EAX Hammer. If willing to order a few thousand I bet you could find a Chinese manufacturer willing to make you a batch. Finding onesies will be difficult to put it mildly.
Yeah. Suspect you are correct on all counts. Custom built one off is seeming more and more the only option. Thanks for trying your Google Fu on it. I had the same result in my searches too.
