Help me find a light ..

Sounds kind of noobish huh ?

I'm looking for a light with a big head ....and a small body .

I'd like to run it off a 14500

reflector.40x50 mm

and the body about the with of a 16340 .

Kind of like a sk68 with a C-8 head

I've put a Hugsby p2 body onto the head of a Spear-clone ....if it would thread together it would be very close .

Problem with the C-8 sk68 merger is i don't like the looks or feel of either light .

I'd like something with a smooth taper like a thrunite t-30

with a AA body .(maybe a bit wider head)

Sort of like a d-mini lumapower

solarforce m3 with a 1xAA body... if you find a 1xAA body fairly cheap, let me know because I have wanted that setup for a while, but 1 off machining is pricey for it

Why do you want such a light?

18650 gives more runtime, 26650 even more runtime

14500=smaller. and one of those "because i can" statements

I’m practical to a fault, if you want small thrower then xp-g will give the same effect with a smaller reflector
You could also try dedoming the emitter for more throw

if you had an xpg in a p60 reflector, you will get less throw than an xpg in a c8 reflector no matter what battery is powering it

I want a light that will faceplant on my nightstand that I can't accidentally knock over at night.

Bort i know you're a minimalist and have like 8 lights but some of us with 6000 lights have this avalanche type problem ...the only abuse a shelf queen gets is when a tidal wave of flashlights drive her from her lofty perch crashing to the floor only to be pelted by a 100 lesser lights with razor sharp bezels ...

or maybe I like the feel and looks of it and wonder why no one has made it before.

I'm not a big bright light type guy so runtime isn't really an issue ....plus... I have 15 other super bright lights if i need one.

I want it basically for the shape.

I was not saying you can’t ask, i was wondering what prompted such a request, a unique situation, an excess of batteries, a showing off piece, who knew

obviously, but you can come up with many more scenarios that throw better then either of these, so if your in the contest for world’s best thrower you have not even cleared the starting gate yet
