Help needed modding TR-J12 driver to single mode

I know it’s an old light and quite a simple and boring mod, but I have just recently been playing around with my J12 and would like to modify the driver to single mode only. I know I can’t bypass the buck circuit, but I think it should be quite simple to move one LED wire and get around the modes.

I would like to do what was done here: Modify 5xCree DX driver to remove blinking? | Candle Power Flashlight Forum

On this driver: Is there a simple driver mod for the TR-J12 ?? Updated with Amp draws in Post #23

I can see components that look similar across the two and could make a guess what to bridge/move, but it’d be great if someone could give me a hint so I don’t end up frying it by accident.

Thanks!

Can no-one work it out from the pictures?

I’d really like to have a clear idea of what to do before getting the soldering iron out. The best I can think of at the moment is bridging the transister marked 2TY (upside-down) that seems to connect with the 8-pin component. I don’t really know what I’m doing though to be honest.
