Help on repairing flashlight Small Sun ZY-T13.

Small Sun ZY-T13 similar to this:

My friend has inserted the batteries the wrong way and powered it on. Now the flashlight is giving out very low output. I cycled all 5 modes and they still work but the output has been very dim. I can disassemble the light and hopefully someone can guide me on how to repair the driver. Because I think the driver is damaged and it smelled burnt.

Hate to say it, but the ZY-T13 is very hard to repair. I would send DrJones a PM and he should be able to get you set up with a driver to switch in though.

No mertinator, this will not do.

People need to see your actual burned driver, in case the offending part can be spotted.
