the flashlight did not.
driver when I get off the pill and the + - do with the LED battery fire.
I like the minus fastening the pill then I have a short circuit.
How can this be? with aluminum, I have never had this.
what does the black wire in this pill?
I do not know and I am grateful for an answer.
This brass pill may have a black wire screwed inside the driver area as a ground supply to the ground ring on the outer edge of your driver. Solder that black wire to the outside ground ring, then hook up the drivers red and black wires to the emitter. That should work.
The driver itself has a black and red wire, these go to the emitter. You might not even need to connect the black wire screwed inside the pill, but if you want to it goes to the outside brass ring on the driver, it will have to be soldered.
The red and black wires standing up off this driver are the wires to the emitter. They will feed through the 2 holes in the shelf the emitter/star sits on.
The brass circle around the outer edge is for grounding the driver to the host body. If there is a black wire screwed to the inside of the brass pill, this can be soldered to the ground ring for a good solid ground connection.
I’m going to try that tomorrow it is now 4 ours in the night woman sleeping now :*
quite strange that we have no problems there with aluminum pills.
it was good nogtans soldered properly the driver to the pill
I see no difference, I do not get it.
There is no problem with the pill or with using (or not using) the separate ground wire. There will be a problem if you connect the black ground wire to the driver's LED- pad.
The reason for the ground wire is that a big heavy pill can be hard to solder to, so some people prefer to install the driver with just a press-fit to hold it in, and then use the wire as the only ground connection. If you can solder the driver edge to the brass pill like is typical with a P60, then you do not need to use the little ground wire.
no good instalation of the emitter has give some strange effekts.
re-soldering the LED / emitter made the problem undone.
I have further the black wire soldered to the copper pill.
Meanwhile, I have found a more convenient way to connect to a copper pill. drivers and wires
where the driver will cut your first with your dremel a cut of 5-6 millimeters in copper.
then you can wire inplaatsen and driver.
with a tap on both sides is the driver already firmly.
with some flux lubricated ka a nice thin solder on both ends.
greets and thanx from help i wish you two one good day.
