Help 
I’ve been away from BLF/flashlight for a couple of years and have forgotten functions. My grandson found my E12R flashlight and started playing around.
Now, the light comes on High (or Turbo) immediately upon pushing the power switch….and does not dim, or change, upon holding the button….stays on High/Turbo ONLY. Unscrewing/disconnecting battery does nothing.
How do I reset to default? Thanks for any info

Here’s a review, check the UI section for all the controls. A factory reset should be (from off) 13 clicks, hold the 13th. =13H
If I remember right it’ll flicker fast and get brighter, then go off. Reset complete.
Maybe worth taping the battery terminal or removing it if young hands can get hold of it 
Ok, after fiddling a lot, got it to do the acceptable (5) STEPPED RAMP lighting mode
Now I am trying to get it to the SMOOTH RAMP mode….it says 3C from ‘ON’ but that’s not changing it. Tried 3C from ‘ON’ many times, but no change from ‘Stepped ramp’ 
At least it’s working! Appreciate the help!
EDIT: OK, I GOT IT 
. After the reset, it’s in Simple UI…..to get the RAMP to switch it has to be in Advanced UI (which was a 10H move). YAY for me, almost wanted to chuck it into the drawer.

Can you check the firmware? Probably you can upgrade
Not sure HOW to do that…..but will investigate if I need to later.

I just read the procedure for flashing/upgrading firmware….seems daunting for a novice . I don’t want to screw it all up and get lost in the Anduril Jungle. It’s working fine, so I’ll use as is.

Same for me, and I’m not a novice as such. Many of the Anduril lights have the pin holes for the flashing device, but I look at the pics of the probe thing, which is presumably connected to a computer and has to have a file downloaded and there’s just zero interest in my part. I wouldn’t know where to start 
I was just reading a post here where the OP can’t access the forum from his computer, and the answers being installing new software and workarounds. It all seems highly complicated. I’m pretty happy using an iPad for hassle free internet browsing and running whatever version of Anduril came with the light. 
Yep….iPad and stock flashlight functions are fine for me . Keeping my lithium batteries charged properly is the extent of my depth.

Erm…as a fellow ‘keep it simple’ fan, I may have found the method I’d favour to upgrade the firmware.
Upgrade the light, FireFlyLite just announced the new E12 Eclipse.
