As you guys already know from his previous post, we did some trading. Now I never thought I would trade my TK70, but Rick wanted it because he has a TK75 coming and he wanted both. So he twisted my arm and I took the plunge. But he did get some of the best beef jerky as a bonus for me coming up regardless if we made the big trade or not.
Anyways here’s some pictures of what I brought home with me.
I did my part to set Rick back a mere 2 less lights than he had. Now maybe you guys can do the same so maybe one day we can all catch up with his great collection. Man I have never seen so many great lights under one roof. LOL!
I do have some of the best jerky thanks to my buddy… You have a awesome collection too, one day you will probably have more than me(but I hope not…hehehe) I sure love the TK70 and can’t wait to see it with it’s little brother the TK75. Thanks again…
I bet he’s curious about your curiooooooooooooooooo too?
H*ll even I’m curioooooooo……………us.
Nice trade btw. Beef jerky for torches. Who’d a thunk such a thing was still possible since pilgrims did horse-tradin’ involvin’ injun rugs, beads, and mirrors? H) :cowboy_hat_face: x
Well seing it in person beats the picture on here. I mean when you got about 150 lights in it, and your just taking out one at a time your in for a workout. Hell I got tired after awhile and had to rest.
Rick has got some of the best EDC lights I have ever seen. Some are very expensive.
I just hope we never have a pretty good earthquake around here. Could you imagine what all those flashlights would look like if say the top glass shelf broke? It would be domino effect. And just think what our lights would look like all marred up with broken glass on them.
So, this beef jerky intrigues me. Home made?
Right now I’m eating some that a friend of mine brought back from South Africa. It’s tasty but not as nice as home made.
I will tell you the best meat I have found to make jerky with is top round by far. London Broil works great, too, but that actually comes from top round.
Rick tells me his jerky is almost all gone. He said it’s very addicting. I told him I know what you mean. My kids are coming home next week. They are gonna be tearing this stuff up. They love it. My son’s and daughter’s friends know all too well just how good my jerky is when they were here after I made a batch. They always would tell me that I ought to sell it. I hear a lot the phrase that’s the best jerky I have ever ate. Just ask Rick. He now knows what great jerky taste like. I ask Rick have you ever had any better. He said nope! LOL!
I put a lot of ingredients in mine. It’s got a flavor that is out of this world. A bunch of flavors rolled into each bite. It’s a semi-sweet but spicy taste with hickory, mesquite, and zesty pepper all rolled in together with the right amount of spices. That’s about all I can tell you. My jerky is actually better on day 3 than it is on day 1. Day 2 is outstanding. Day 3 is unbelievable. And day 4, well you get the picture.
