My absolute favorite series is Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Sousou no Frieren). I started reading the manga at the very start of publication and have followed it since.
We’ve been blessed recently with very good anime adaptations of great source materials : Frieren, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Dungeon Meshi and this season the remake of Spice and Wolf is off a good start as well. Plus all of them are 2-cour.
My personal favorite is Dungeon Meshi, but Frieren was exceptional too.
