I have been to 2 local Home Depots lately and have seen this display as I first walk in. This is not a new light, but rather a restocking of the 3D ArmorMax. $31.47, have they actually increased the price?

I was was gifted one of the 3C armormax that has an xpg(2?), with the rubber head/tail caps it looks weird, but I imagine you would have to do some serious thwacking or drop it off a *very* high building to damage it. Tailcap clicky feels.. Inadequate, just lacks a proper beefy feel to it that Maglites or well built budget LED lights have. Output is decent; it has a teeny tiny pill with very little room inside it.
Yep, they also weigh a ton! I wanted one, but I didn’t think my wife would be able to carry it and all the other gear she has to carry for me, so I didn’t get one.
You are seriously just as bad as I. Thats the reason I gave it away. I have another here that will get a aftermarket SST50 reflector and MTG-2 possibly one day or year.
Well, I was really glad to see new stock of a Defiant light. Shows that they are not giving up on the line. Here is an old review by jmpaul320, They did go up in price!, they used to be $29.97
Well, I hope they don’t start doing that with all the Defiants. If they have finally realized how popular some of them are, they might all go up in price. I wish they would put out some more of the Defiant Throwers.
