Since flashlights have overcharge protection, is that all you need? (With insulation over the blue raw batteries)
Sir, I charged my Eve 46950 battery inside my Lumintop Mach 
Five times and I discharged it Five times in the without an insulator and I’m still alive.
It is Possible that trend may not continue so I’m looking for safer alternatives. Then again this battery has been nothing but a headache since I’ve got it. Part of it was my fault for not knowing Lumintops policy of not sending a spare battery unless it’s inside of a flashlight.
