I was actually unaware of fasttech before I started getting into flashlights, but am very VERY impressed by their selection/pricing on vape supplies, might have a few orders to make _
i got one of their telescopic mechanical mods on the way. got a few of their rebuildable atty/tanks. buy the dekang dk-tab from there for like $15 for 100ml
Well, I was disappointed in the past that Yezl Z1 was a flashlight and not an ecig mod… I was even thinking to try and make it an e-cig mod…
they had light attachments that screwed on to a 510 connector, but it was just a 5mm led.
i still think a p60 head (host) that screws on to either 510 or ego connection would be bad@$$. probably a ego connector because it would make it a more sturdy attachment
Right now I am using a Buzz v1 ecig. It uses 2x16340 and can provide from ~3.3V to 5.5V (it’s the older v1 so it can provide only 2A, I think the new ones go up to 3A+). It could be a nice base for a driverless XML on a tiny star with a 510 connector…
As I said before, I can’t say I haven’t thought about it
I ordered 6 Panasonic protected 2900mah 18650 batteries on May 29. I received them today June 6 in only 8 days. Now that is record setting shipping. FastTech simply rocks!
Asking me to verify my address, asking me to contact the postal service and customs. Because they only respond once every 24 hours, I'm already a few days into the support process. I've already verified both those things previously, and wouldn't care if they asked again if they responded back within a few hours. I'll be at or beyond the 45 day Paypal limit if they take another 24 hours to respond.
did you already open up a paypal dispute? It’s my understanding it’s best to go ahead and open one up if you’re nearing the 45 days, just to get it in the system and on record. You can always close it at a later time, but I don’t believe you can open one after the 45.
I just opened one. Thanks. Part of me wants to say that I'd be happy to pay Fasttech if I ever get the package, but I don't want to keep waiting and will probably reorder those products. That's why I was hoping Fasttech would offer a credit. It's not really Fasttech's fault the package wasn't delivered, and it isn't my fault, so I thought that would be the best compromise. That would cost them less than dealing with Paypal, and it'd cost less than reshipping the order since they'd pay less for shipping when I reorder those items as part of a bigger order. Like you said, I can close the dispute later. Hopefully that's the way it turns out.
I wish ya the best My one and only order (so far) from FT arrived very quickly, was packaged well enough, and was as described (within reason). Just from the sheer amount of good reports I’ve read, I’d be surprised if this doesn’t all work out just fine in the end for you
Thanks. I had 6 orders with them at the time I opened the ticket, 5 of which were delivered successfully. The Paypal dispute gives them another 20 days for the order to be delivered, and I'm okay waiting as long as it actually gets delivered. I updated my first ticket to tell them that I'd be willing to pay for the missing order when and if it's delivered if they issue me a credit right now.
I placed a new biggest order with them last Friday, which should tell you that I still have faith in them doing the right thing even if it takes longer than I hoped. Unfortunately I found a problem with an item in my last order, so I had to open another ticket. It's the 4 usb Ioncell charger that HKJ did a mega comparison review on. It's rattling. That one should be very straightforward. I plan to make a lot of orders with them in the near future now that I'm starting to mod, so hopefully these tickets are resolved soon.
UPDATE: On Fasttech's reward page it mentions a refund of this order on 6/6, which is strange because their responses have been against a refund, and it hasn't been reflected in my Paypal account. Maybe they preemptively took back the reward points.
The first thing I did was look at HKJ's review to see how well the light came apart. He said he had to use a Dremel. While I could plastic weld the charger back together, I don't want to do it until I have a new non-rattling charger...if at all. This thing is pretty. It'll be hideously scarred if I fix it..."if" has a double meaning.
