Zebralight website says turn the light on high then cycle from low medium high 7 times
But then it doesn’t say how to lower it or if the light will let me know that it’s been lowered by blinking or flickering at me
It just says “when high by 1c”
I don’t know what the fuck that means
Here’s a link from bob_mcbob with additional information on the process.

I personally have not adjusted the thermals on my Zebralight before, so take it with a grain of salt, but I do trust bob_mcbob when Zebralights are involved.
Bob’s instructions are from zebra lights website
I think I figured it out
You have repeat the whole process over and over again 5 times and in order to lower the temperature
you have to let go the switch when the light gets to the low mode, it has to cycle 7th or more times, it’s a pain
You have to time it right
My light throttles down much faster now, which is what I wanted, unfortunately when I start it on high or turbo it still takes forever to dissipate heat
I think I’m done with small sized lights forever
My next lights will be acebeam L35v2 and Malkoff m61 with 21700 body
I have several lights and all the ones that are less than 1" in diameter get way too hot for my liking
I don’t mind having a bigger diameter in my hand
The lack of feedback and minimal difference in performance makes this “feature” mostly unnecessary. As you experienced, the thermal capacity of the small light is the limiting factor.
Btw, what happened at reddit? I tried to reply but your account was deleted before I had finished my comment.
I got banned for the 7th time. I’m used to it at this point.
