i got this light for weeks
there is magnet at the tail, which is good
but it is quite weak, it only can hold the light vertically downside, if i put it horizontal, it will fall down
today i saw this picture
so, i think there is something wrong with my light
can anyone help me, thanks
That may have been a vertical picture that was rotated 90 degrees to make it appear to be holding in the horizontal. you may need to add additional magnets to get higher holding strength.
Photo looks real to me. It is possible to stick your 18650 flashlight in horizontal position, but it will easy fall off with slightest bump. On the other hand, it will be more secure if you orientate and stick the flashlight in top-down position (as a down light).
Same thing with mine…can’t hold itself horizontally

See closely and you can see in that picture that the flashlight is resting on a ledge on the bottom…

still quite disappointed with the magnet, with the size of the tailcap, they can put stronger magnet
I have no problem with the placement of 180º, but the 90º is very unstable. The same happens to me with all my 18650 flashlights with magnet, too much weight and length for a normal magnet.
