FWIW, I’ve had to repair lights that had the glow-in-the-dark stickers shift onto the emitter and fry the emitter, smoke up the inside of the light and in general just make a nasty mess. The worst one I had to repair was a triple Noctigon with Nichia’s. Not sure how it got shifted but it completely ruined 2 of 3 emitters and the triple optic. This may well have been a bad installation by the lights owner, but the possibility is there at any rate.
This bad one was made worse in that it was a $300 Titanium light.
The glow tape around the inside perimeter ala DQG Tiny 26650 III 7xXP-G2 is a neat idea, seems to be well out of the way and still gives a nice glow inside the light. I suppose if it begins to peel off and curl from heat it could also be a problem.
I know this isn’t about the Jaxman M2 host, just wanted y’all to be aware and be cautious when applying tapes inside a really hot light.
