I’m trying to sell some flashlights but I’m unable to - the ‘For Sale’ page says read only. How does one post items for sale?

The reason you cannot post in the WTS section is because you’re a newbie.
Once you have enough posts on BLF, you’ll be able to post in WTS.
Mr. Admin knows the specific number of posts needed, but that number could change and I don’t think Mr. Admin will publicly announce the specific number.
In the meantime, you should not try to sell anything on BLF (in the wrong category) unless you want to break BLF rules.

Kind of, but not really. Just make some meaningful/contributive posts, or even chime in with your opinions on stuff you own, or might have some questions about prior to owning. There’s a thread about watches, a thread about knives, general EDC items, etc… It’s my uneducated observation that it encourages positive engagement in the forums, and helps everyone to know everyone a bit better as well.
In any case, welcome…back?
Without specifically telling us what you’re trying to sell, let’s start off instead with what you might be looking for in a flashlight. What kind of light interests you? Have you found a near perfect flashlight?

You can post, but not in sales. Some post history shows an interest. It’s predominantly a discussion forum, not a sales platform, the forum owner doesn’t get anything from any sales, except a headache when things go wrong for someone.
