I have a Trustfire R5-A3 of which I’m attempting to replace the XP-G led with an XM-L2. Problem is, the led is affixed to the pill with that semi-solid, silicone type glue/compound and I can’t shift it, it seems without mangling the XP-G led base.
Are there any sure fire methods for removing the led; boiling, acetone, etc without any really damage?
