How to subscribe to a thread?

I'm probably blind, but I can't find an option to subscribe to a thread.
Can anyone help me?

There’s a button right under the top post in every thread that says “Click to Subscribe”

I had to search Google for about 10 minutes before I could find it, haha.

I think there's also an option to subscribe to any thread that you post in.

mine subscribes me if i post or reply to anything - must be a default - i do not remember setting that

though it only lasts one time

if i do not click on the link in the email, it does not remind me again

if you are not getting those, the emails may also be going to spam
