I can’t seem to get the optic & LED out. I tried pushing it out from the rear with my finger, but I was pushing pretty hard and didn’t want to hurt something.
Any hints?

The optic seems to be press fit/ bonded. How about heating the light (low temperature in oven) so metal expands, and try taking the optic out then.
Watch out for melting TIR…
But it looks as if the head can be screwed off, but i guess it’s glued.
I would try a tiny butane torch to heat up the where the groove (between head and tube) is and twist with rubber grips (bicycle wheel inner tube or similar, maybe leather).
The bezel appears to be holding the optic. It looks like there is a joint below the "Sky___" logo. Maybe the black ring is threaded on.
Sorry, I should have said that earlier - there is no bezel. The part pictured is the head, the battery tube has been removed.
There is a groove as you saw that makes it LOOK like a distinct bezel, but it is just a groove for styling. I examined it very closely, it does not unscrew/join there. The head (other than the optic/led/Driver) is one piece.
given the floating star, I’d guess press fit too.
Ah, that’s a pity…
Maybe you can place the head upside down over a hole and hit the MCPCB from behind, it may pop out.
I guess the LED it has sucks, probably a Latticeshyte or something…
Yeah, either a hammer and dowel will work or you’ll need the hammer anyway. :smiling_imp: offhand I’d say pressed in mcpcb and glued in optic unless you’re mistaken about the pseudo bezel.
