We had turtles basking on Christmas day and again on Groundhog’s day and every week since. Usually we don’t see any for 4 months or more.

Sky is bright no clouds, light tan color.
This part of Texas gets just nasty when wind blows.
There will be sand-drifts across any roads that run through the cotton farms.

Does it like sand blast the finish on cars, outdoor metal objects etc?
Guess it would have to eventually.
Clog up air cleaners too.
Sure does. Sifts in around any air leakage seams in doors and windows too.
Car finishes seem to be remarkably sturdy. Then again I live in town and don’t see what happens to cars on the ranches and farms.
Bet long exposure to this sure buggers them up.
Still blowing today - just not as bad.
Older fences around town have sections blown out of them.
40 years ago wind like this would pile VW Bug sized tumbleweeds into my yard.
