but this light is missing something from the center, I am not sure if it is a small spring or just a contact pad (pogo pad).
If anyone still owns this light could you make a photo so I could see whats in the center of battery contact board?
The first screenshot is from Zeroair.org’s review of the Perun2, with the second SS being from a Perun2 Mini taken from 1Lumen.com’s website, because it’s a better photo of the battery contact. I don’t have either one, so I can’t confirm that the Mini has the same design. I hope they help!
Thanks.
These look very similar so we can presume that battery contacts are identical and, this is what I was afraid of: center “pin” is not connected to the firs closest “ring”.
Battery that these lights are using is one of those specialities with + and - on the same side (so it could be charged with magnetic charger) but plastic spacer between + and - is raised to avoid short circuit if placed on flat metalic surface and with missing (looks like a circular wire) in the “center closest ring” that contact board is just that, flat surface so light doesnt work anymore.
idea was to put a solder blob that would cover center spot and closest ring but I am not sure if I can add solder just to the ring and not the center “pin”!
Btw, “pin” is connected to charging poing on the back outer side (this is + ) of the ligh and the “ring” is ground (in tihs case also + because battery is reversed so I am not sure why are they not just one larger contact pad !?).
