The problem with the Kings these days is, that you never know, what you get.
One person gets a perfectly made light with cooling, another gets one with a floating LED-board under the reflector, no cooling at all.
So, nobody can say “Hey, that King is good” - because nobody can know.
If somebody got a King from DX - he bought it 2-3 Weeks ago - and in that time they can have gotten a new batch - which is different in quality.
If you want a “good” one - buy it in the forum with confirmation of the cooling and overall quality.
Agreed! It has great mass for cooling and RMM can tweak it to put out insane lumens! Ive got a stock one myself and even then its got good output and for me the best part is it comes with neutral white leds, instead of the ice blue you get with so many others.

From the messages, I understand that DX is not good choice for buying a King. May fail at the second attempt.

Are you stuck on getting a King-style light? For that price, you could go with a Trustfire J18:
