I never received my BLF X6SE from Banggood

Hi,

I ordered the EagleEye BLF X6SE (first batch, #139) with great anticipation.
I paypal-ed BG on 2 Nov and was duly informed (according to “my orders” page) that my X6 was shipped out on 4 Nov.

However, all tracking information went dead after 8 November. My package could not be tracked anywhere. I would try every
couple of days to track my package with no success. I emailed BG and, after many back and forth emails still could not get a satisfactory answer.
They kept telling me to “be patient” an that my item was on its way. But the tracking trail went dead on 8 Nov and never re-surfaced after that.

I continued to communicate with Banggood using various emails /live chats etc. but nothing changed. I even messaged Neal on BLF.

Finally, after much to-ing and fro-ing, BG said they would refund me $10 and, if - after another week, my package couldn’t be found, I could get the full refund. They did, in fact refund me $10 a week ago.
Today is one week later. I just emailed their customer-service people to cancel my order.

I am a little disappointed with the way things have turned out. This idea for this group-buy was first mooted in June (I think) and it’s been a long time coming.
Has anyone else not received his X6SE?

You still have paypal if you ultimately get no satisfaction, 180 days now i believe?

Customs probably took it. I see a lot of items that get auctioned by customs and duty. :frowning:

I ordered mine early Nov and received mine early December with no issues. I was actually surprised that I got it that early since I wasn’t sure if they had enough on stock because I ordered a week after it being released. It’s a very nice flashlight and I would definitely try reordering it again once you get your money back.

you should just get your money back with paypal, there is no use to keep waiting for it the time limit already over.

I chose that name as a kind of a joke, actually. Thought it sounded cool :stuck_out_tongue:

(Btw, I mean NO disrespect to the Bangladeshi people).

As for approaching Paypal, I will just wait for BG to respond to my latest email about cancelling the order.
At least that will give them the chance to make good on their promise.

Yep, you may want to ask them to send out another instead of reordering. You may lose the group buy price.

Same here. I ordered Nov 7, shipped Nov 17, and the tracking hasn’t moved. I’m really disappointed. Looks like I’ll try to get a refund as well.

Neal did, in fact, pm me yesterday when he read my post.
But today is Christmas day :smiley: , so I will pm him maybe tomorrow when I have a little more free time.

it IS quite a disappointment.

Well guess what….

At 1am 12/25 i received a polite email from banggood asking me to wait patiently for delivery. I immediately responded with a frustrated message of how I have been waiting patiently for over a month!

At 1:20 am 12/25 I received a tracking update from USPS…. My X6 is now in Michigan.

I shall now insert my foot into my mouth

Well… Banggood made good on their promise and returned me the rest of the money ($9.99).
So I guess that’s the end of this episode.
